In the US, video feedback platform Discuss.io has launched a suite of intelligence tools called Augmented Insights, to help brands and agencies access and mine large amounts of unstructured data.
Seattle-based Discuss.io offers an enterprise-level consumer conversation platform that combines video with qualitative research workflow. Powered by natural language processing and machine learning, the firm's new Augmented Intelligence suite aims to help reduce market research costs, decrease manual work, and connect key data sources in a single platform. Users can store tagged or filtered video clips and live conversation sessions, and analyse for sentiment, themes, keywords and concepts.
Jim Longo, co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer, comments: 'We know that our clients spend a lot of time finding and documenting insights; this remains the most important output of consumer interviews and focus groups. With our new AI capabilities, we are solving one of the biggest problems in the MRX industry, threading a needle through thousands of interviews and enriching and transforming disorganized raw data into powerful intelligence'.
