Savanta Buys MSI International

Next15's data and insights group Savanta has acquired Pennsylvania, US-based full-service agency MSI International. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Founded in 1988, MSI International offers insights on markets, products, services and brands. Following the acquisition, Savanta Americas will have more than 100 employees, bringing the global Savanta team to over 400. The buy will enhance Savanta's experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, investment, insurance, IT/security, and retirement markets.

The MSI International management team will remain with the business and there will be no immediate changes to the day-to-day running of the company, with founder and President Paul Strasser (pictured) reporting directly into < 27896>Vin DeRobertis, Savanta's CEO Americas. DeRobertis comments: 'We welcome the MSI team to Savanta with open arms. We're joining together with a team of specialist consultants whose focus and values fully align with ours, in helping our clients make better decisions'.

Strasser says the deal 'marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for MSI', and adds: 'Not only is this exciting for our employees, but our clients too. Working as part of Savanta allows us to bring a wider range of insight solutions to our clients because we believe that better research results in better decisions'.
