In the US, data-driven product quality platform unitQ has raised $30m in a Series B round of funding, which it will use to expand operations and its business reach. The firm's AI-enabled platform, unitQ Monitor, helps clients improve product quality by identifying insights in user feedback from public sources such as app reviews and social media; private sources like support tickets, support chats and surveys; and its unitQ API, which connects to other external data sources. This platform can be used to understand the sentiment behind user feedback, and to benchmark product quality against competitors.
New funding was led by Accel with support from Creandum and Gradient Ventures and brings the total raised to date to $41m. unitQ founder and CEO Christian Wiklund (pictured) says the firm has created 'the first and only offering that gives companies a clear path to maintaining and improving product quality by empowering data-driven decision-making'.
