In Sydney, media agency Universal McCann (UM) Australia has appointed Adam Krass as Chief Digital, Data and Technology Officer, replacing Maria Grivas who was named CEO of IPG-owned media agency Reprise earlier this year.Krass (pictured) joins from Omnicom analytics division Annalect, where he served as Head of Marketing Technology. He was previously Head of Data and Operations at WPP's audience profiling and targeting division Xaxis, and he held senior roles at eBay, Seven Affiliate Sales, and Nine Network Australia.
Commenting on the appointment, CEO Anathea Ruys said: 'Adam will ensure our clients and client teams have tailored and incisive digital solutions developed through media owners and the capabilities of the wider Mediabrands group. In particular our digital performance agency Reprise and the addressable activation solutions and advisory services available from Matterkind'.
