On-demand insights firm UserTesting has publicly filed a registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed initial public offering (IPO) of shares of its common stock.
San Francisco-based UserTesting has developed its Human Insight Platform to help understand the experiences of real people as they engage with products, designs, apps, processes, concepts, and brands. This platform captures customer perspectives from targeted audiences who have opted in to share their thoughts, and generates video-based 'Customer Experience Narratives', typically in less than a day, and often within a few hours.
The company has now applied to list its common stock under the ticker symbol 'USER' on the New York Stock Exchange, with the number of shares to be offered and the price range for the proposed offering not yet determined. This proposed offering will be made only by means of a prospectus obtained from Morgan Stanley & Co when available.
The firm, which is led by CEO Andy MacMillan (pictured), is online at: www.usertesting.com .
