In the US, customer and employee engagement specialist PeopleMetrics is to acquire the assets, people and client contracts of full service agency the Center for Strategy Research (CSR). Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Founded in 2001, Boston, MA-based CSR offers a range of qual and quant techniques including telephone and in-person depth interviews, community and panel exchanges, and focus groups, and uses its own proprietary content analysis software. With the buy, CSR will be merged with PeopleMetrics and operate under the PeopleMetrics brand.
Julie Brown (pictured left), founder and CEO of CSR, says the combination with PeopleMetrics provides a 'major growth opportunity' for both businesses. Sean McDade (right), founder and CEO of PeopleMetrics, adds: 'With their unique methodology for understanding the experiences of the hardest to reach, highest value audiences, merging with CSR supports PeopleMetrics strategy of providing an industry leading VoC and research solution for B2B, pharma and other industries where small numbers of customers carry a big weight'.
