Alida Hires Merger and Acquisition Specialist

In Canada, insights and CX firm Alida has appointed Gaurav Bhide as Vice President of Corporate Development, with a remit which includes driving M&A strategy.

Formerly known as Vision Critical, Alida launched the 'world's first' combined customer experience management (CXM) and insights platform a year ago, and now describes its offer as Total Experience Management (TXM). Bhide (pictured) joins with a decade of M&A and corporate development experience. Most recently, he was a member of the Mergers and Acquisition team at enterprise information management software developer OpenText, executing the company's $1.4 billion acquisition of data protection specialist Carbonite. He has also worked on several buy-side and sell-side transactions at Bell Canada Enterprises and BMO Capital Markets.
