In Edinburgh, Ipsos MORI has appointed Lisa Sutherland as Head of Behavioural Science in Public Affairs.
Sutherland (pictured) joins with more than 25 years' experience across behavioural science, strategic planning and digital communications. Most recently, she worked for the Scottish Government as Senior Policy Advisor, Digital Health & Care; having earlier worked there as Strategy and Insight Lead (Healthier and Safer Marketing). During her career, she also served as Managing Partner (Behavioural Strategist) at boutique strategy consultancy Spirit-Level Associates. Before this she worked for NHS Scotland, where she led on the use of behavioural science to improve patient safety; and she worked for digital and CRM agency Blonde, Newhaven Communications, Forrester Research, and The Leith Agency.
In her new role, Sutherland will work with leadership teams across the Public Affairs policy practices to design approaches to integrate behavioural insights with communications strategies and intervention design.
