London-based data and analytics-enabled healthcare marketing firm Engage has been acquired by biopharma commercialization partner Fingerpaint, for an undisclosed sum.Founded in 2017 by Dave Chandler and Mary McGregor (pictured), Engage delivers marketing solutions powered by data and insights to deliver customer engagement strategies, content and tech development, campaign deployment, and real-time performance analysis. Campaigns are evaluated with KPI-led measurement frameworks including attitudinal markers of behavioural change. The business comprises a team of marketers, data analysts, scientists, writers, designers, UX/UI experts and developers, who are all trained in healthcare compliance and data security.
Engage joins four other Fingerpaint firms: medical comms specialist MedThink; global naming and branding business Leaderboard Branding; healthcare consulting services provider 1798; and advanced therapeutics consultancy Photo 51. According to Fingerpaint, the deal will expand its own European footprint and complement its existing data and analytics expertise.
Following the deal, McGregor and Chandler will continue to lead day-to-day operations. Ed Mitzen, founder of Fingerpaint, comments: 'Strengthening our global infrastructure is reflective of the diversified biopharma industry we serve worldwide.
