In the US, text analytics specialist QuickCode.ai has raised $2m in a seed round of funding, which it will use to expand operations.QuickCode enables data scientists to unlock the insights 'trapped' in text data. Powered by technology developed and patented by Harvard University, the platform uses natural language processing to target and create datasets for text-based machine learning algorithms, focusing users on finding the most representative data, including the hard-to-label and edge cases.
Seed funding comes from DataTribe, which invests in data science companies.
