London-based insight and strategy consultancy BritainThinks has hired Alasdair Pearce as an Associate Director, Olivia Nathan-King as Business Development Manager, and Samm Gates as Senior Project Manager. The firm has also promoted six of its team.
Launched in 2010 by Opinion Leader co-founders Deborah Mattinson and Viki Cooke and their former colleague Ben Shimshon, employee-owned BritainThinks offers strategic advice for political, corporate and not-for-profit clients. Its WorldThinks international division has a specific focus on reputation research.
Pearce joins from Savanta, where he was a Senior Consultant on the consumer team, working on a range of behavioural and consumer projects. Nathan-King previously spent three years in the business development team at Yonder Consulting working across a range of public and private sectors; and Gates also joins from Yonder Consulting, and has more than ten years' experience of delivering qualitative and mixed method research projects. In addition, Rachel Rowlinson has been promoted to Research Director; Grace Birrell, James Cox, Alice Hayward, and Phoebe Ward to Research Lead; and Honor Sullivan-Drage to Senior Research Executive.
Shimshon comments: 'We're delighted to bring Alasdair, Olivia, and Samm to BritainThinks as part of our growing team. Each brings a unique personality and skill set that will support the organisation in delivering our pioneering research skills and strategic thinking to our existing and new clients. Everyone at BritainThinks has gone above and beyond over the course of a year full of challenges, but brought significant growth for the business. Which is why we're also thrilled to announce a number of internal promotions.'
