Data collection company Norstat has acquired Nordic online data supplier Userneeds, for an undisclosed sum. The deal adds approximately 130,000 panelists to Norstat's existing consumer panels across the region.
Headquartered in Copenhagen and with additional offices in Stockholm, Helsinki and Bergen, Userneeds offers access to consumer panels in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Ireland, and Norstat's technology and quality assurance processes will now be integrated to extend their reach. Userneeds CEO Johnny Jensen (pictured) will stay on as MD of Norstat Denmark, while Tue Meier-Poulsen, who previously held that role, will take on the position of Regional Director for the Northern European markets.
In a statement, Norstat said the latest acquisition solidifies its position in the Nordic market and adds to the group's previous European acquisitions, including those of TestingTime, DMA Research, Respondenten and CG Research last year. Jensen comments: 'Combining Userneeds' digital capabilities and strong local presence with Norstat's market leading position and high-quality offering will be hugely beneficial for our customers, and I look forward to our continued journey together'.
