Next15's data and insights group Savanta has acquired French-based qual and user experience specialist MindSpark Research International, for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2014 by Nikki Lavoie (pictured), Paris-based MindSpark also specialises in behavioural economics and related techniques, and is able to take data in French and generate reports and insights directly in English. In addition, the company offers training and bootcamps to help teams execute their own research or build ongoing research programmes. Lavoie will now join Savanta.
Commenting on the news, Savanta's Americas CEO Vin DeRobertis said: 'At the heart of this acquisition is innovation. New techniques and ways of thinking, such as qual at scale, really excite me not only for the future of Savanta, but the future of our industry. We saw an instant fit with Nikki and the team, and we're welcoming incredible talent into the business as we broaden and deepen our offering'.
