San Francisco-based no-code retail sector decision intelligence solution Cerebra has raised $15m in a Series A round of funding, which it will use to scale its solution globally and for strategic hires.
Cerebra's solution is used to analyze all available external retail data points and apply them to a retailer's internal data, in order to optimize inventory, reduce waste and enhance customer lifetime value. The solution can be used to predict future trends and identify and launch new products; and it can also help manage customer churn. In addition, retailers can use the solution to predict the best performing discounts and tailor their offers for specific customer segments.
New funding has been led by Notion Capital. Cerebra CEO Vehbi Deger Turan (pictured) comments: 'This round of funding will establish Cerebra as the go-to decision intelligence solution that provides retail professionals with timely recommendations with predicted business impact instead of more data requiring time and effort to interpret. This enables retailers to not only grow profitability but to do so in a sustainable manner. After all, sustainability and profitability are not two opposing drivers, they actually go hand-in-hand when you utilize the right tools'.
