In the UK, former IFF Research director Mark Speed has joined data collection and analysis specialist Rigour as Head of Research.
Rigour Research uses a range of methodologies including CATI, online, IVR, postal, face-to-face, and SMS mobile for projects across areas including ad tracking, brand awareness, behavioural and consumer attitudinal research. Speed (pictured) joins after six years running his own research consultancy xSpeediency, where he focussed on B2B and campaign research in the UK and internationally. Prior to this, he spent fifteen years at full-service agency IFF, latterly as Joint MD, before which, he was a Partner at MORI.
In his new role, Speed is tasked with further developing the firm's full-service offering, and complementing the team's data collection expertise and advanced analytic skills. MD Cornelius Barry comments: 'After a very successful 2021, where we consolidated and grew our core business, we welcome the addition of Mark to focus on the further development of our full-service offering given his extensive experience in both UK and international research and a broad range of specialisms.'
