In the Netherlands, full-service agency DVJ Insights has appointed Emily Lando as Director Research & Operations, responsible for carrying out client projects and directing the activities of the Research team.
Founded in 1996, DVJ helps clients improve communications, build brands, launch more innovative products and services, and understand consumer buying behaviour. Lando (pictured) joins from Just Eat Takeaway.com, where she was Senior Research Operations Manager, responsible for setting up research operations for the UXR team. Prior to this she served as Research Operations Specialist at Booking.com, directly managing user research projects for a team of 35 UX researchers.
In her new role, she will contribute to the improvement of the research process through training, coaching and optimising processes and deliverables. She reports to MD Marieke van Echtelt, who comments: 'Emily's experience aligns seamlessly with our goals of delivering exceptional quality to customers and staying ahead of the market. She is also responsible for the continuous development of colleagues in the Research & Operations team, in all their diversity in backgrounds, nationalities, languages and experience. Emily is the perfect candidate to work with this team'.
