Former Toluna MD Mark Simon Named MindProber Advisor

March 23 2022

Long-time Toluna exec Mark Simon has joined Portugal-based media research platform MindProber as a Strategic Advisor.

Mark SimonMindProber's real-time analytics media testing platform analyzes viewer's physiological and behavioural responses to media content, on a second-by-second basis. Hand-held sensors are used to gather galvanic skin response signals from respondents in their own home, facilitating biometric testing of content and campaigns, which the firm says until now has been restricted to lab environments. Last year, the firm launched what it described as the first in-home biometric panel in the US.

Simon (pictured) joins with more than 25 years' experience in mergers and acquisitions, go-to-market strategy, and Board advisory services in the UK, US and France. He was an early employee at MR tech platform Toluna, where he worked for nearly fourteen years and latterly served as MD for North America, before which, he worked for Greenfield Online as Client Development Director. He later served as MD, EMEA at SaaS company Datto, and he is currently a Partner at M&A boutique advisory firm Traction Advising, and he holds Board advisory positions at Konnecto, VectorScient, and Glimpse.

Pedro Almeida, co-founder and CEO at MindProber, comments: 'We are excited to have Mark join MindProber as a strategic advisor at this important moment for our company. MindProber works with the world's most innovative media owners, content creators, and sports leagues, and Mark's expertise and experience are second to none when it comes to taking companies to the next level.'
