605 Names EVP of Engineering

New York-based television measurement and analytics company 605 has appointed Frank Deo as Executive Vice President of Engineering, supporting its product innovation.

Frank Deo605 offers advertising and content measurement, full-funnel attribution, media planning, optimization and analytical solutions on top of its TV viewing dataset, which collates deterministic data from more than 22 million US households across all 210 designated market areas. In December, the firm launched a media trading currency it calls 605 EXCHAN6E, which it bills as an alternative to Nielsen, designed to underpin advertising transactions between buy and sell side partners.

Deo (pictured) joins with more than 35 years' experience in product development, engineering management, operations and process development and big data infrastructure, with specialisms in ad technology and data analytics. Most recently, he held senior technology roles at advanced TV ad platform company Cadent, telecoms conglomerate Comcast, TV software tech firm ACTV and data science and machine learning-based ad platform AdTheorent. Most recently, he was CTO of melanoma skin cancer monitoring firm MoleSafe.

In his new role, Deo will report to founder and CEO Kristin Dolan, who comments: 'Frank is a true innovator with a proven track record of managing diverse teams and delivering elegant solutions to solve some of the most complex technical challenges facing the industry.
