London-based predictive visual analytics platform Dragonfly AI has raised £3m in a Series A round of funding, which it will use to target growth across Europe and North America, scale up its sales engine, and invest in product development and R&D.Co-founded in 2018 by Mark Bainbridge and David Mitchell, Dragonfly uses artificial intelligence and neuroscience to provide real-time insights relating to what an audience sees first across any content and channel. The platform can be used to measure the effectiveness of a variety of content such as packaging, adverts and print; instore merchandise and signage; TV ads; and eCommerce landing pages.
Funding has been led by Guinness Ventures and existing investors Downing Ventures, with participation from Capita PLC. Dragonfly AI CEO Richard Mann (pictured) comments: 'We're delighted to close this round of funding from investors that share our vision for the value that predictive technologies can bring to the creative design process. The investment will allow Dragonfly AI to continue scaling up across Europe and the US, and invest more heavily in our technology platform, including initiatives such as the new eCommerce benchmarks that we are launching this quarter'.
