London-based machine learning start-up Quin AI has raised £582k in seed funding, which it will use to scale the business across the UK and Germany and build out its business offering.
Quin AI was founded in 2020 by former iLab Ventures Analytics Manager Gonca Gulser and her sister Gulsah Gulser, who was previously an AD at KPMG Turkey. The firm has developed machine learning and AI technology to predict the behaviour of potential eCommerce consumers in real time, enabling brands to react to events and changes as they take place. According to the sisters the tool uses first party data to help eCommerce businesses with traffic down to around 250k monthly visitors.
New funding was led by SFC Capital, with participation from NCA, Logo VC and StartersHub. Commenting on the news, the sisters said: 'We are very excited to close this round with an amazing team and group of investors in making easy, accessible, and privacy-safe ML applications to predict user behaviour. We already started our journey with the eCommerce industry where there are massive amounts of untapped user data and increasing privacy concerns'.
The firm, which also has offices in Hamburg and Istanbul, is online at www.thequin.ai .
