Marketing firm What's Possible Group has appointed former WPP exec Patrick Mazzotta in the new role of Managing Director of Data, charged with building a centre of excellence for data, analytics and insight within the company.
Mazzotta (pictured) served most recently as Vice President of Analytics for EMEA at WPP agency Essence, and has also led marketing science and data functions for two of the group's North American agencies, POSSIBLE and Wunderman Thompson. In his new role, reporting to Chief Commercial Officer Karl Weaver, he will lead What's Possible's data and intelligence offering, drive the development and commercialization of new data products, and manage a growing team of analysts, scientists, location data specialists and researchers.
Weaver comments: 'Patrick has the perfect balance of technical skills and commercial capability and is a great people-person and collaborator. He'll be a huge asset for What's Possible Group. I look forward to working closely with him as we extend our data and intelligence expertise to drive growth for our clients ultimately'.
