In the US, out of home (OOH) audience measurement body Geopath has appointed former Comscore exec Chris Luken as Senior Vice President of Product, with a focus on expanding its suite of solutions.
Geopath, which was formerly known as the Traffic Audit Bureau for Media Measurement, offers a system for measuring audiences who actually see advertising, and creates ratings for transit media and digital billboards. The organization has recently launched its 'strategic vision initiative', which aims to advance OOH measurement through cataloging and inventory auditing across all OOH media formats.
Luken (pictured) joins from patient engagement platform PatientPoint, where he served as SVP, Product Development and Operations, following the firm's merger with healthcare-focused DOOH network, Outcome Health. Prior to this he led product strategy and the design of cross-platform video measurement products at Comscore, as well as branded content measurement at Rentrak. Earlier, he worked for sports and entertainment sector social media analytics firm SponsorHub, which was acquired by Rentrak in 2015.
Commenting on the appointment, Dylan Mabin, President of Geopath, said: 'Chris's experience will play a critical role in advancing Geopath's best-in-class OOH measurement as we implement our strategic vision initiative. Our focus is on bringing innovation to assessment and planning in OOH and his appointment will be invaluable in enhancing our ability to better serve members'.
