Explo, an analytics solution for visualizing and sharing data with customers across any platform, has raised $12m in a Series A round of funding, which it will use to accelerate the development of its product roadmap.US-based Explo enables users to connect directly to their database or warehouse, build custom-styled dashboards, and embed them into their web app or a custom web portal. The firm has launched a self-serve platform, to enable developers to create a workspace, integrate data sources, and build white label dashboards.
New funding was led by Craft Ventures, with participation from Felicis Ventures and Amplo VC, bringing the total raised to date to $15m. Gary Lin (pictured), co-founder of Explo, says the company is 'reinventing how businesses are able to harness and share data with customers'. He adds: 'Given our growth this past year, we have proven that customer-facing analytics can be a differentiator for any data-driven company'.
