Online survey and research services provider QuestionPro has announced the acquisition of Madison, WI-based Digsite, which provides qualitative research capabilities and a collaborative insights platform.
QuestionPro is headquartered in Austin, Texas, with offices in the US, Mexico, Canada, Germany, the UAE and India, and its broad-based offer includes specific platforms for Customer Experience, Research & Insights, and Employee/Workforce experience. In the last two and a half years it has acquired healthcare CX platform Care Experience; automotive tracking software firm Enprecis Group, and most recently customer brand engagement analyst Bryght AI.
Its latest acquisition, Digsite, was founded in 2014 and developed 'social media-style qualitative research', with a platform allowing companies to capture experiences and open-ended feedback online. More recently it launched agile qual product Digsite Sprints, allowing iterative development of ideas without the need for physical focus groups.
QuestionPro says the buy expands its CX, EX and Research & Insights platforms, giving powerful new capabilities for agile two-way conversations with customers. According to founder and CEO Vivek Bhaskaran, 'Real-time qualitative exploratory research has become a critical part of evolving brands as they respond to a rapidly changing marketplace. It's now more critical than ever for brands to have access to both qualitative and quantitative research - and the combination of QuestionPro and Digsite does just that'. Digsite CEO Monika Rogers (pictured) says the combination 'means companies can seamlessly integrate qual and quant research', and adds: 'Clients can learn and iterate quickly, reducing their reliance on outside consulting services'.
