DISQO Hires VP of Engineering

US-based DISQO has appointed former Google exec Nicholas Weaver as VP of Engineering, leading development of the firm's B2B SaaS product portfolio, as well as its consumer-facing mobile and desktop applications.

DISQO offer insights, agile testing and advertising measurement products, adding up to what it describes as an intelligence platform 'for understanding every customer experience', powered by millions of consumers on 'the industry's largest opt-in consumer data platform'.

Weaver (pictured above) joins with more than twenty years of experience leading technology teams at firms including Google, DICK's Sporting Goods, Capital One, Nike and Intel. Most recently, at Google, he led engineering in Google search ads for AI and machine learning productivity; and at retailer DICK's he oversaw platforms, architecture, data analytics and innovation. At Nike he was Senior Director of Global Technology Platforms, launching new platforms including the company's enterprise data lake, its global AI and machine learning platform, its real-time streaming on Kafka, and its cloud-based observability platforms.

In his new role he reports to co-founder and CTO Drew Kutcharian, and will lead a growing team of engineers scaling DISQO's platform to help clients use data-driven decision making to manage their customers' experiences. In June the company appointed Andrew Duke (pictured below) , most recently Senior Director of Strategy and Product at Oracle, and formerly of Nordstrom, Expedia, Microsoft and Blackberry, as Vice President of Product, Consumer Applications. It is now hiring for a wide range of remote positions across the US, including a number of engineering roles on Weaver's team.
