Habu and Reveal in Location Data Clean Room Deal

In the US, data clean room software developer Habu has partnered with location intelligence specialist Reveal Mobile, to introduce a clean room for privacy-compliant location data.

San Francisco and Boston-based Habu's data clean room software connects data internally and externally with other departments, partners, customers, and providers in privacy safe and compliant ways. Reveal Mobile's geofencing platform, VISIT Local, provides companies with location data to understand, reach and measure the right audiences, and create and activate audiences based on the number of times a mobile device has visited a specific location.

Through the partnership, Habu aims to enable marketers to use campaign planning tools derived from store foot traffic, to help media buyers plan and buy across channels, and access insights into consumer behavior to better plan new store sites and retail expansions. Marketers will be able to activate geofencing media plans on social media and programmatic platforms, and measure return on ad spend based on new visits, repeat visits, and visits to stores by consumers who are switching brands. Habu says clients will also be able to understand campaign impact from digital or out-of-home ad exposure on visits to physical stores, in-app activity, and web site transactions.
