Reed Cundiff is New Schlesinger CEO

International data collection and research tech company Schlesinger Group has hired former Kantar Americas CEO Reed Cundiff as Chief Executive Officer, following Steve Schlesinger's move into the role of Executive Chairman. Meanwhile Isaac Rogers becomes company President.

The Group offers a broad range of managed and self-serve qual and quant solutions, including recruitment and project management for any methodology, online or in-person. Cundiff (pictured) joins after most recently spending around a year as CEO of Kantar Americas, which he left in the summer of 2021, after 're-evaluating his personal priorities'. Before this he spent fourteen years at Microsoft; the last ten of which were as General Manager of Customer and Market Research. Earlier he was a Market Analyst and Consultant at Gartner and the Yankee Group, and he co-founded Compete. He currently serves on the Boards of LatentView Analytics and the Insights Association.

Steve Schlesinger, who has been CEO for the past twenty years, says of the appointment: 'I have the utmost confidence in Reed's proven industry leadership experience, and I am delighted to announce him as our new CEO. He has impressed the Board with his business acumen, razor-sharp commercial focus, and strong client-centric mindset. My decision to step aside as CEO was not easy, but I am delighted to continue to help oversee the business as Executive Chairman, and help Reed and our team write our next chapter'.

Rogers takes over the role of President previously held by Mike Sullivan, who joined in 2000 and will continue as an advisor to the group and shareholders. Rogers joined in 2020, initially as Chief Innovation Officer, then more recently as Chief Strategy Officer. He previously spent more than twelve years at 20|20 Research, latterly as CEO, before the company's acquisition by Schlesinger. In a statement, Schlesinger said Rogers had been a 'key contributor' to the group's growth and innovation during the past few years.
