US and Israel-based product growth platform Loops.ai has launched with a $14m in a seed round of funding, which it will use to continue refining its insights engine and scale its team.
Founded by CEO Tom Laufer, who previously led the Growth & Analytics team at Google EMEA, and tech entrepreneur Ido Adiv, who serves as CTO, Loops enables product teams to improve their key performance indicators (KPIs) by automatically identifying growth opportunities that exist in their data. The firm's no-code solution plugs into data sources and automatically runs thousands of proprietary analyses and machine learning models that examine millions of data points. As well as identifying impactful opportunities, the platform measures the impact of actions and refines its recommendations over time.
New funding has been led by Scale Venture Partners, with participation from Cardumen Capital and several product and growth execs, including Brian Balfour, former VP of Growth at Hubspot, and Lenny Rachitsky, former product lead at Airbnb. Laufer comments: 'Our models are based on causal inference methodology, enabling product teams to understand what leads to a certain increase or drop in a company's KPIs. It's a totally different approach that doesn't waste resources on strategies and tactics that don't work.'
