In the US, full service shopper behavior specialist Alter Agents has appointed Heather O'Shea as Chief Research Officer, and Casey Willard as Chief Analytics Officer, while promoting Eddie Francis to the role of Chief Operating Officer.
Los Angeles-based Alter Agents, which was previously known as Dialogue, was co-founded in 2010 by former Hall & Partner Directors Patrick O'Neal, Angela Woo, Phil Dance and Rebecca Brooks. In 2019, Woo and Dance left the company, leaving Rebecca Brooks with sole ownership of the business, and O'Neal continuing to deliver qual research and strategic planning under the Dialogue company name.
O'Shea joins from camera app Snap, Inc. where she served as the Global Head of Ad Research and Insights, before which she served in both brand-side and agency leadership roles at companies such as Kantar, Twitter, Universal McCann and New York Magazine. O'Shea will now oversee the research functions within the company.
Willard previously led analytics teams at consumer insights and research firms including Hypothesis Group, Bastion Insights, The Modellers, Hall & Partners and Millward Brown. He will now develop and oversee Alter Agents' analytics department, and work with Chief Innovation Officer Michelle Castle and other team members to pursue the firm's goals for elevating methodologies and best practices to help fulfil innovation initiatives.
Francis has worked at Alter Agents for twelve years, most recently serving as MD. He will now be responsible for overseeing functions such as IT, budgeting, staff development and hiring, and vendor relationships. Brooks comments: 'Our new hires have the perfect mix of experience and skills to complement our existing team, bringing both on-the-ground and strategic expertise to help us meet our goals for the future'.
