InnovidXP President Departs

December 19 2022

InnovidXP President Jo Kinsella has announced she is leaving the company 'to explore new adventures'. She joined in March when ad tech firm Innovid paid $160m to acquire measurement and optimization firm TVSquared.

Jo KinsellaInnovid CEO and co-founder Zvika Netter said Kinsella had played a key role in the acquisition and recently completed its successful integration into InnovidXP.

Kinsella began her career at UK-based firms including BT Radianz, Egg Plc, GPN Ltd and Carlton Television, and later worked in consulting roles for companies including Lucera Financial Infrastructures and Trillium. She joined Edinburgh-based TVSquared in 2018 and was promoted to President in March 2020 - she herself was based in the New York office having worked Stateside since 2009. The firm had expanded rapidly, launching a fully-automated cookieless TV measurement solution called ADvantage XP early in 2021. Innovid's offer of $100m in cash and c.$60m in stock followed in February this year, and it launched InnovidXP in June, describing it as 'the first unified cross-platform solution directly integrated with ad serving data and creative personalization'.

In a post on LinkedIn, Kinsella said TVSquared/InnovidXP had 'succeeded in getting the TV ecosystem to believe that measurement and attribution was for everyone and that we could transform an entire industry', adding: 'What's next for me? I want to help other people succeed. I want to help communities and I want to mentor others so the next generation of innovation can make a difference to our world'.
