Non-profit MR industry consortium the Market Research Institute International (MRII) has appointed former dunnhumby exec Paul Hunter as its President for 2023, succeeding Marjette Stark, who will remain on the Board as immediate Past President.
MRII offers online market research courses covering the fundamental skills of the profession, to the standards of worldwide industry associations. The organisation partners with the University of Georgia on 'Principles' courses for Market Research, Mobile MR and Pharmaceutical MR, and has taught more than 9,000 practitioners from 107 countries.
Hunter (pictured), who joined the MRII Board in 2016, is a Professor at Miami University (of Ohio) and a Principal of Oxford Analytics, with particular expertise in fields such as secondary research and emerging research technologies. He previously served as Head of Operations for dunnhumby and was Chief Operating Officer for BzzAgent, a dunnhumby company.
