Consumer data giant IRI has appointed former Amazon exec Florian Clemens as Vice President of Advertisers & Agencies EMEA, tasked with growing the company's media business across Europe. He is based in London.
Clemens (pictured) joins from Amazon Advertising, where he built the Global Accounts team to support media relationships with advertisers in FMCG and beyond. He began his career with P&G in Germany, before holding European and global marketing roles for P&G Global Laundry and Danone Global Baby Nutrition; and then worked for EffectiveBrands (now Kantar Consulting) as Head of Strategy.
In his new role, Clemens will consult with FMCG brands and the agencies that serve them, to help improve the impact that media advertising has on in-store and online sales.
