Uniphore Buys Voice Capture Platform Red Box

US-based conversational artificial intelligence and automation specialist Uniphore has acquired UK firm Red Box, which offers a platform for capturing voice and screen metadata from conversations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Red Box's flagship tool Conversa provides an enterprise platform which captures voice data and media from 'every conversation, anywhere', on any platform and in real time. This solution can also help extract data from legacy call recording platforms - including inaccessible and poor quality data - and uncover business insights across compliance, customer experience, sales coaching and other areas.

With the acquisition, Uniphore says it will now deliver access to AI-ready voice and screen recording data from 100% of conversations; and extract insights and deliver automation from AI-ready voice and screen data at scale. The deal will also further strengthen its footprint in Europe, and help it to deliver customer and employee experience for global organizations.
