Conversation AI and automation specialist Uniphore has acquired Hexagone, which combines various voice, visual and text-based data to provide insights into human behavior. Terms were not disclosed.
With the acquisition of France-based Hexagone, Uniphore enhances its X Platform and its ability to combine data from computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), knowledge AI, and voice and tonal analysis - and to pick up behavioral and emotional cues.
As part of the acquisition, Hexagone founder and CEO Camille Srour (pictured) and his team of data scientists have joined Uniphore, whose co-founder and CEO Umesh Sachdev comments: 'This acquisition brings unique capabilities to our X platform, making it the only platform that can fuse critical signals from different behavioral modalities in a conversation together. This ultimately provides organizations with the right information to make every conversation count'.
The deal follows Uniphore's recent acquisition of Red Box which offers a platform for capturing voice and screen metadata from conversations.
