In France, consumer intelligence business NielsenIQ has promoted Emilie Darolles to the role of Managing Director for Western Europe and International Global Clients.
Advent-owned NielsenIQ uses its data and predictive analytics to optimize the performance of CPG and retail companies. Darolles (pictured) joined Nielsen in 2008 as Commercial Associate Director, FMCG Client Leadership in China. Since then she has held a number of senior international roles, including MD Taiwan, Global FMCG Clients Group Leader and, most recently, President, West Europe and Key Accounts Lead. She began her career at Unilever, before joining Kantar Worldpanel.
In her new role, Darolles is tasked with guiding market and commercial leaders, overseeing business operations, and working with manufacturers, retailers and emerging brands to develop and implement tailored solutions. COO Tracey Massey comments: 'Emilie's expertise and track record of success make her the ideal leader to drive our business forward in Western Europe. I am confident that her passion for delivering meaningful insights and impactful solutions will benefit our clients and contribute to the growth of our business'.
