In Canada, multifamily real estate intelligence provider RealSage has raised $1.6m (CAD 2.1m) in a new funding round, which it will use to expand across North America.Founded in 2019, RealSage uses machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics to identify hidden behavioral patterns and data on market conditions and trends. The platform is designed to help rental managers make data-driven decisions that improve their portfolio performance, and to foster a collaborative workflow across all departments, with insights delivered through real-time dashboards.
New funding, which adds to RealSage's $1m early-stage investment, has been led by Golden Section and Plug and Play Ventures, with participation from REACH (an early-stage arm of Second Century Ventures), angels and real estate family offices. Arunabh Dastidar (pictured), CEO and co-founder of RealSage, comments: 'We are thrilled to have the support of such great investors and to bring the power of data intelligence and AI to the multifamily real estate industry. With this funding, we will continue to grow our team and expand across North America, helping asset managers make more data-driven decisions and optimize their portfolios'.
