Text analyst Canvs AI has launched a solution called AI Story Assist, which promises more efficient delivery of insights from unstructured feedback, and instant transformation of open-ended text from surveys, social media and online reviews into a natural language summary.
New York-based Canvs uses a patented AI and machine learning platform to analyze open-ended text, which can be used to help understand how consumers feel, why they feel that way, and the business impact those feelings and behavior create for brands. At the end of last year the firm added translation capabilities to its Canvs MRX platform, which automatically classifies and categorizes open-ended responses, including measurement of nuanced emotional expression.
The company says with the new AI Story Assist, integrated with Canvs MRX, users can quickly and accurately generate narrative summaries from text-based consumer feedback from any source and in any language. It can also provide narrative overviews based on Canvs Smart Search filters, such as demographic crosstabs, and emotions; and enables users to ask questions about data, such as what respondents think about an ad, or how a product could be improved.
CEO and founder Jared Feldman (pictured) comments: 'AI Story Assist is probably the most important update we've made to empower users to discover insights faster and craft compelling, data-driven stories from unstructured feedback. AI Story Assist acts like a co-pilot to give market research and customer experience leaders superpowers that allow them to better understand their consumers and markets and deliver amazing insights for their organizations'.
