Ghent, Belgium-based behavioural research specialist EyeSee has promoted Joris De Bruyne to the position of Chief Executive Officer, succeeding founder Olivier Tilleuil who has moved to a Board position.
EyeSee was launched in 2012 as a webcam-based eye-tracking business, but now focuses on providing tech-enabled behavioral research, combining implicit and explicit methods. The firm employs 150 staff across seven offices - Mexico City, New York, London, Paris, Belgrade and Singapore - and conducts research in more than 50 countries worldwide.
De Bruyne (pictured) has worked for the business for the past decade, partnering with Tilleuil to develop proprietary technology and build commercial capabilities. He was instrumental in securing the company's 2020 capital funding round, and supporting R&D departments. President of the Board Wouter Verlinden comments: 'The Board is convinced that Joris and the EyeSee team are eager and ready for what's coming up next considering the insights expertise, tech advancement and new organizational structure'.
Separately, former Product Director Marija Djordjevic has been named Head of Crafts, having previously worked at Nielsen as Senior Consultant Customer Insight.
