In Singapore, Kantar has hired long-time Nielsen exec Kartikeya (Kartik) Varma for the dual role of Head of Creative and Media, Singapore, and Head of Media, APAC.
Varma (pictured) joins after seventeen years at Nielsen, most recently as VP Partnerships based in Singapore. Earlier he led the company's relationship with digital publishers in APAC; was International Digital Product Partner for Nielsen Digital solutions; and Head of Product Leadership in Mumbai, where he earlier served as Head of Audience Measurement and launched Digital Ad Ratings (DAR) in India. He has also served as Head of the Indian Readership Survey.
In his new role, Varma will be working with platforms, publishers and media owners to deliver a combination of creative, media, analytics and consulting services.
