Discuss Hires Qualtrics' Thomson as VP of Engineering

In the US, video feedback platform Discuss has appointed former Qualtrics exec Jesse Thomson as Vice President of Engineering, responsible for continuing development of its People Experience Platform.

Seattle-based Discuss offers an enterprise-level consumer conversation platform combining video with qualitative research workflow. The People Experience Platform offers tools for research projects, including auto-created screening questionnaires, video highlight reels and discussion guide suggestions.

Thomson (pictured) joins after seven years at experience management platform Qualtrics, where as Software Engineering Manager he launched a new Frontend Infrastructure team, operating an internal developer platform for building, previewing, testing and deploying front-end applications. He also collaborated with UX, Product, and Engineering leaders, to support product launches and redesigns through the Design System library, including accessibility compliance initiatives.
