Ipsos has named Claire Hanlon as ESG Lead (Environmental, Social and corporate Governance) in the US, which it says will reinforce the company's commitment to insights framed by social and environmental considerations.
Hanlon (pictured) takes up her new position after thirteen years at Ipsos. Most recently she served as Chief Client Officer in North America. Before this her roles included EVP of Ipsos Connect, and SVP of Ipsos ASI. Earlier she spent a decade at Synovate, which was acquired by Ipsos in 2011, and she began her career as an SRE at Millward Brown.
In her new role, Hanlon will tap into Ipsos' research capabilities and cross-sector expertise to provide brands and policymakers with a 'true understanding' of society, markets and people. She will also oversee Ipsos' internal commitment to carbon reduction, corporate social responsibility, and the charitable impact of the Ipsos Foundation.
Lorenzo Larini, CEO of Ipsos North America, comments: 'Organizations in the US are under pressure to act ethically and sustainably - but for those that adapt and take action, this is an incredible opportunity for growth, innovation and market leadership. With Claire's dedication and determination, Ipsos will keep delivering the sophisticated insights that clients need to thrive in a complex ESG landscape'.
