First-party data company Dynata has appointed former SSI MD Mark Lepine to lead its APAC business. He is based in Hong Kong.
Dynata taps ongoing research relationships with nearly 70 million opted-in consumers around the world to compile data comprising thousands of attributes. Last month, the firm rolled out its proprietary inBrain survey-based monetization platform to the Asia Pacific region - specifically in Australia, India, Japan and New Zealand, with other Asian markets scheduled this year and next.
Lepine (pictured) joins as Managing Director, APAC, with nearly 30 years' APAC experience. He was previously a director of Research Services Limited; MD APAC at Survey Sampling International (SSI - which merged with Research Now in 2017 and became Dynata two years later); Regional Director of Forrester Research; and MD of research and advisory business Faroden; having earlier held sales roles at WGSN and Gartner.
In his new post, Lepine will oversee the company's APAC operations. Chris Watson, International MD, comments: 'Mark's market research experience, abilities to lead and drive growth align perfectly with our strategic goals. He will have a pivotal role in expanding our reach, elevating our market position and driving continued success across the APAC region. We have complete confidence in Mark's ability to deliver outstanding results for our clients.'
