Tugce Bulut and Oliver May, the co-founders of London-based mobile intelligence platform Streetbees, have left the business. The company is now led former Chief Commercial Officer, Vidisha Gaglani, and previous Chief Technology Officer Sean O'Connell.
Set up in 2015 by Bulut and May, Streetbees captures real life behaviour from its millions of 'bee' panellists at the moment a decision is made, enabling clients to access chat with photos and videos from millions of consumers around the world. The firm's SBX tool uses GPT to gather bespoke insights, validate a client's hypothesis, and generate a 'ready to go' report in one click.
Gaglani joined nearly seven years ago as Research Director, and was then Head of Research. Before Streetbees she held senior roles at Future Thinking, YouGov, SMPR and Kantar, having begun her career at Harris Interactive. O'Connell joined in 2021 as VP Product, after previously serving as Chief Digital Officer of Ascential, Chief Product and Marketing Officer at Paysafe Group, and Product, Technology and Insight Director at Weve.
In a LinkedIn post, Bulut said she and May had decided to move on, but will continue their entrepreneurial journey with GenAI. She thanked the team, and she looks forward to the 'next chapter' as they take Streetbees to 'new heights'.
Gaglani added: 'From both a professional and personal perspective I would like to thank our co-founders, Tugce & Oli, for everything they have done in taking the business to this point. In just eight years, they've transformed Streetbees from an idea into one of the world's leading intelligence platforms, bringing blue-chip brands closer to their consumers. On behalf of the entire team at Streetbees, we wish them all the best'.
