Heap Update Delivers Behavior Analysis at Speed

September 13 2023

Digital analytics specialist Heap has expanded its data analysis tools, to enable enterprises to understand actions users take across all platforms at speed.

Rachel ObstlerSan Francisco-based Heap automatically captures customer app and web site user interactions, without requiring tracking plans, tracking code, and tags. At the end of last year, the firm released a tool called Journeys, which visually maps the paths users take when using a digital product, and enables clients to understand everything users do on their site or with their product.

Through the update, Heap will enable companies to process large data sets at speed, and understand why users take specific actions. The updated capabilities are designed to help digital product teams to understand the customer journey across platforms, products, and accounts. Session replay, heatmaps, and mobile auto-capture have all been updated, to handle increased scale, privacy, and analysis requirements for the digital enterprise; and Heap's single platform makes quantitative and qualitative analytics accessible to every team in an organization.

Rachel Obstler (pictured), CPO of Product, comments: 'Companies of any size can access meaningful data and achieve speed to insight. Heap enables enterprises to collect millions of customer journeys across platforms and devices. Customers can understand the user journey at scale, which gives them the insights to take action against pain points.'
