Retail media analytics platform mimbi has raised EUR 1.5m in a funding round, and says the money will help accelerate its commercial development in Europe. The firm has also added former Cdiscount CEO Emmanuel Grenier and investor Marc Menasé to its board of Directors.
mimbi's software help brands track and optimise return on investment for their ad campaigns on e-commerce sites, focusing on 'true incrementality'. The company was founded by eCommerce tech workers Mickael Froger and Frédéric Clément.
The funds came from business angels and funds Founders Future, OVNI Capital, Kima Ventures and Better Angle. Menasé is the founder of Founders Future.
'Thanks to this funding' says Froger, 'we can continue pushing the boundaries of the market and provide brands with the information they need to drive growth, particularly by capitalizing on retailer data'. Clément adds: 'We are delighted to welcome Emmanuel and Marc to our board of directors. The breadth of their experience and knowledge in commerce is priceless for continuing our growth and innovation'.
The company, which opened its doors only this year, is online at www.mimbi.io .
