Boxclever Boosts Qual Team with Two New Directors

Leeds, UK-based full service agency Boxclever has appointed two new Qualitative Research Directors, nine-year Basis Research veteran Taryn Needham and Emma Kirk, who spent a similar amount of time at Join The Dots and InSites Consulting.

Boxclever was formed in 2010 by three former Nunwood execs and offers services to support customer experience, proposition development and pricing, segmentation, brand strategy and marketing effectiveness.

Needham spent six years working in qual and quant positions in Australia at agencies Kantar, The Leading Edge and Fiftyfive5. She joined Basis Research as a Research Director in August 2014 and has focused exclusively on qual but on a wide range of project types - she brings expertise in handling complex, strategic exploratory projects, and in brand strategy and positioning.

Kirk has worked in qual research and business development, on both sides of the Atlantic, and has a background in Psychology and Sociology. She joins from Behaviorally where for the last year she has worked as VP Customer Success, and began her time in MR as a Group Grad & Research Executive at Adelphi. In between she worked for five years as an SRE, and then in Bus Dev roles rising to Director, at Join the Dots, and after the latter's acquisition by InSites Consulting four years ago worked for InSites as Research Director in the USA and UK.
