Raft of Promotions and Appointments for Thinks

London-based Thinks Insight & Strategy continues to grow its team with eleven hires in the last quarter. Nick Downes rejoins as Research Director while Ella Jenkins and Chloe Juliette join in AD roles, and Alex Beard as Senior Client Lead. The firm has also promoted eleven.

Thinks logoThe company has been hiring and promoting rapidly since February, when it dropped its old names, BritainThinks and its subsidiary WorldThinks, and assumed the single new brand.

Downes has particular expertise in health research and policy, and since departing the firm has worked at The King's Fund as a policy researcher and at Engage Britain as Senior Analyst on the Health and Care team.

Jenkins joins as Behavioural AD in the growing Applied Behavioural Insights team. She worked most recently at Ogilvy UK, and focuses on health and sustainability. Juliette specialises in qualitative methods, theory-led evaluation, co-production and deliberative engagement with the general public and 'seldom heard populations'. She previously worked at Ipsos MORI and What Works for Children's Social Care.

Beard joins from the Communications Directorate at the Home Office, and worked earlier at agencies Quadrangle and CFE. She has a mixed methods research background, across public sector clients. Josh Cohen arrives from B2B marketing agency alan, where he worked across financial and professional services, and takes the role of Research Lead.

Also joining as Research Leads are Greg Hyatt, formerly of Incite and with pharma and health expertise; Hannah Kearsey from Yonder Consulting, specialising in ethnographic research and seldom heard audiences; and Adina Pintilie from Ridgeway Information where she managed projects for independent UN agencies.

Former Ipsos UK researcher Kirsty MacLeod joins as an SRE, and Janice Osibo and Hannah Gregory join the project operations team as Team Assistants, with experience respectively from the NHS and the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.

Within the company, Rebecca Burslam and Eilidh MacGregor are promoted to Research Lead; James Cox, Teresa Kuhn and Phoebe Ward to Associate Director; and Molly Jeffreys and Harry Rogers to SRE. In addition Ioana Diac, Florence Hammond, Anh Hoang and Orla O'Dwyer, all of whom joined as interns in January this year, have been promoted to Research Executive.
