In New York, luxury 'off-price' department store chain Saks Off 5th has appointed former Rakuten CMO Kim Miller as Chief Marketing and Analytics Officer, continuing a senior management restructure with a focus on understanding the customer.
The company was spun off from world-renowned retailer Saks Fifth Avenue in 1990 and has around 100 stores in the US and Canada selling at discounted prices. Miller reports to CEO Rob Brooks, who comments: 'At Saks Off 5th, we remain steadfast on our journey of customer centricity. Investing in and building improved capabilities around our data and analytics teams is imperative to unlocking a deeper understanding of our customer'.
Before Boutique Brands, iller was CMO for Rakuten, SVP of e-commerce for Charlotte Russe and for Philosophy Inc.; and worked at Macy's and HP.
