Divested government policy and comms advisory business Kantar Public will be rebranding globally as 'Verian' from November.
The unit was sold fourteen months ago to pan-European private equity firm Trilantic Europe, and functions as a standalone business, but until now has retained the Kantar prefix, while email addresses have stayed on the kantar.com domain. Former Kantar CEO Eric Salama became the business's Chairman within a month of the sale's completion.
Kantar Public hinted in a press release in May that a rebrand was due before the end of the year, but until now has not given further details. The firm announced the change in an email to suppliers today, noting that the new brand name will not impact any contracts or work in progress. Legal entity names and individual emails will be unchanged for a further month, and the web site remains for the time being at www.kantarpublic.com .
The company announced on Friday that it had teamed up with AI-based performance consultancy Faculty AI to launch a tool to improve the data synthesis stage of qualitative research studies.
