In the UK, social and MR agency Blue Marble has promoted Sonali Patel to Research Director and hired Daniel Brownie as a Research Manager, following a 'brilliant' year in 2023.
Patel (pictured) worked at Basis until joining Blue Marble two and a half years ago, and has since worked on qual projects including video ethnography exploring water use in the garden during hot weather, and a meta-analysis of the water sector's blockage reduction campaigns, published at the end of 2023.
Brownie comes to the UK from New Zealand, where he worked for Kantar Public (now Verian) and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment. Is appointment boosts Blue Marble's expertise in social and policy-focused research.
Managing Director Tom Clarkson says of the new arrivals: 'Sonali is at the heart of so much that is great about Blue Marble - delivering outstanding work to happy clients and playing a vital role in keeping the business running smoothly, while also embodying the supportive, positive and ambitious culture that we are so lucky to have. We're also delighted that Daniel has decided to join us - his strong social research background means he is well placed to jump straight into some of our most fascinating and complex projects'.
